1. What is the new feature about?

This feature allows you to track CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points earned from other providers directly in your LawCPD learner account. The points are automatically added to your CPD compliance tracker.

2. How do I add CPD points from another provider to my account?

  • Log in to your LawCPD account.
  • Navigate to the "MyCPD Dashboard" section.
  • Click the "Add an External CPD Activity" button on the Dashboard or the Completed Courses page. You can only click on the "Add a CPD record" menu item.
  • Follow the instructions on the form to provide details of the CPD activity. You can either upload a record or fill in the details manually.
  • Click "Submit"

3. When will the CPD points appear on the MyCPD Dashboard?

After you log an external record, there is a 1-2 business day delay before the points appear in your learner account. Once your record has been processed, you will receive a notification from our team.

4. Can I edit or delete CPD points that I've added from other providers?

Yes, you can. Log into the MyCPD Dashboard, find the entry you want to delete, and click on the bin icon. If you'd like to make an edit, our team is here to help. Kindly use the chat or email support@lawcpd.com.au to request one.

5. How do I know if the CPD points I've added are compliant with my regulatory body?

We recommend that you check the guidelines provided by your regulatory body to ensure the CPD activity meets their requirements. The feature allows you to categorise the activity to help with compliance tracking, but the final responsibility for compliance lies with you.

6. Can I track CPD points from multiple providers?

Yes, you can track CPD points from as many different providers as you like. Each entry will be individually recorded in your CPD compliance tracker.

7. Is there a limit to how many CPD points I can add from other providers?

There is no limit to the number of CPD points you can add. You can keep a comprehensive record of all your CPD activities, regardless of the provider.

8. What if I made a mistake while adding CPD points?

You can quickly delete any entry by going to the "Completed Courses" section of your learner Dashboard and clicking on the bin icon. You can request an edit by contacting us via chat or emailing support@lawcpd.com.au

9. Will the manually added CPD points be automatically added to the CPD Compliance Tracker?

Yes, once you add the points, they are automatically counted towards your annual CPD requirements in the compliance tracker.

10. Will the external CPD activity also appear in my Annual Compliance Summary?

Yes, once added, the records will also be visible when you generate an Annual Compliance Summary. This summary provides a comprehensive overview of your CPD activities for the year, including the points earned from external providers. You can click here to learn how to generate this summary from your learner account.

11. How can I give feedback on this feature?

Our team is always looking for ways to improve your experience on our platform. Do not hesitate to chat with us or email us at support@lawcpd.com.au if you have any suggestions on how we could make the external CPD tracker even better!
