Whether you are looking for a quick compliance sprint or year-round professional development, LawCPD’s subscription options offer a flexible way to earn your points. This guide addresses the most common questions about accreditation, accessing your content, and what happens when your subscription ends.
1. Compliance & Accreditation
Are these courses recognised in my state?
Yes. LawCPD is a leading national provider, and our interactive courses are recognised in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania, the ACT, and the Northern Territory.
I practice in Western Australia. Do you report my points?
Yes. We provide automatic reporting to the Legal Practice Board of Western Australia (CPDMS). This is a critical feature for WA practitioners, as many "international" unlimited providers do not offer this integration.
Can I actually earn points just by listening to podcasts?
In most cases, yes. The LexiCast episodes included in your subscription qualify as "structured audio learning" in most Australian jurisdictions. However, please note that under current rules, the podcast cannot be claimed for CPD points in Western Australia.
Does the subscription cover all mandatory areas? Yes. Our library is designed to ensure you can complete all mandatory CPD hours, covering the four core competency areas: Ethics, Professional Skills, Practice Management, and Substantive Law, as well as BHD.
Is the content up to date? A: Absolutely. Unlike some providers who rely on older static libraries, LawCPD ensures all content is current and valid for the 2026 CPD year.
2. How it works
How can I access the courses once I've paid?
After signing up for a subscription, you can use a special member code to "purchase" courses for free via our course catalogue.
Login into your account
Browse courses at LawCPD.com.au/legal-cpd and add your chosen courses to your cart.
Apply your member code (sent to you by email) at checkout to reduce the price to $0.
My member code does not work. What do I do?
If you are having trouble using the member code to claim your free CPD courses, please check the following:
You are logged in with the same account as the one you used to purchase the subscription
You are still within the subscription's full access period (60 days or 12 months from the purchase date).
If you are still experiencing issues, please contact our support team for further assistance. You can chat online, call us on 1300 948 950 or email our team at support@lawcpd.com.au
How do I listen to the podcasts?
Access to the LexiCast podcast library is separate from the main dashboard. Once you purchase your subscription, a member of our team will be in touch shortly to set up your podcast login details.
What is MySkillsAI, and is it included?
MySkillsAI is an award-winning interactive tool that allows you to simulate real-world legal scenarios, such as client negotiations, in a risk-free environment. This feature is included at no cost with both the 60-Day and Annual subscriptions.
3. Post-Subscription & Expiration
What happens to my CPD certificates if I buy the 60-Day Pass and it expires?
Your records are safe. Even after your 60-day unlimited window closes, your progress and certificates remain stored permanently in your Learner Dashboard for you to download at any time.
What if I don't finish my points within the 60 days?
You will not be locked out of the platform. Once the 60-day "sprint" ends, you automatically switch to "Member Pricing," which gives you a 35% discount on any individual course purchases for the rest of the year. You will also continue to receive monthly free CPD offers.
What happens to any uncompleted courses I choose during my unlimited period?
You will be able to access any courses you have completed during your unlimited period indefinitely, including access to any CPD certificates.
For any courses you choose during your unlimited period that are not complete, these will be removed from your dashboard. For 60 day pass holders this will happen at the end of 60 days, and for 12 month subscription holders this will happen at the end of 12 months.
Any other LawCPD courses you have purchased outside the unlimited period will remain in your account and dashboard indefinitely.
Can I track points I earned elsewhere (e.g., at a seminar)?
Yes. Both subscriptions include the Automated CPD Audit Tracker. This tool logs your LawCPD points automatically but also allows you to manually upload external records (like seminars or external workshops), ensuring you have a single, "audit-ready" hub for all your compliance records.
Can I cancel my subscription?
No. LawCPD subscriptions are annual and cannot be cancelled once purchased unless it complies with our refund policy. Subscriptions are not automatically renewed, and you are able to unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
