To create LexiCast episodes there are 3 processes:

 

Step 1) creating the podcasts in Notebook LM  

Step 2) making appropriate edits in Canva

Step 3) Compiling Final Episode



Step 3: Compiling Audios to Create Final Episode


In Step 2 you would have created the final audio for the podcast episode. In this last step, you will add the intro and outro to the audio to create the final audio episode that will be uploaded to Supercast.

To do so, follow these steps: 


1. Create copies of episode templates

  1. Open the 'Final Episode Audios' Folder within the LexiCast folder in Canva.
  2. Press the three dots on the 'Template: CPD Episode Lexicast' design and press 'make a copy'
  3. Rename this copy '[Episode name]: CPD Episode LexiCast'
  4. Repeat Steps 2 with the 'Template: Free Episode Lexicast' Design, and rename it '[episode name]: Free Episode LexiCast'.


NOTE: The following Steps must be completed for BOTH the Free and CPD Episodes using the Canva designs just created


2. Compile Audios 

  1. Open the CPD Episode copy that you have just created in Canva
  2. Upload the Final mp4 file saved in the google drive into the design. This is the audio created in Step 2. 
  3. In between the intro and outro audio clips that should already be in the design, drag the uploaded audio file. 
  4. Listen to the transition between intro-episode-outro making sure it is smooth and that the volume levels are even sounding


3. Save to Google drive

  1. Download the final audio as an mp4
  2. Use the mp4 to mp3 transmitter to save it as an audio file
  3. Save this final mp3 file into the google drive folder of the episode
  4. Within this folder create a new folder named 'Archives' and move all existing audio files that aren't the final mp3 files into this new folder


Ensure that you now have a file in the google drive folder for both the Free Episode and the Paid CPD Episode.


Now that you have completed step 3 all that is left to do is:
